Are you ready to dive into the world of quantum information science?
Then join us in March 2025 in Düsseldorf, Germany for the Spring R(h)ein Quantum School!
If you are approaching the end of your Bachelor studies or are a Master student that is curious about the fascinating world of quantum computing, quantum key distribution and entanglement, then this school is for you! No prior knowledge is required, although basic knowledge of quantum mechanics is helpful.
What to expect?
From 24th to 28th of March, world leading experts will join us to spread their knowledge about their favorite topics in the world of quantum:
- Introduction to Quantum Information (Roope Uola, Stockholm),
- Quantum Algorithms (Mariami Gachechiladze, Darmstadt),
- Entanglement theory (Anna Sanpera, Barcelona),
- Quantum Key Distribution (Gláucia Murta, Vienna),
- Experimental Quantum Protocols (Benjamin Brecht, Paderborn),
- Quantum Advantage (David Gross, Cologne),
- [Your topic here] (You) *
*Are you doing something fancy in your Bachelor or Master project? Tell us about it! Present your favorite topic (does not need to be quantum related) as a poster or a short talk (5 min).
Get connected: The school is accompanied by a series of social events to talk to, play with and connect to each other.
Are you from Düsseldorf? Great news: you can earn 3 ECTS points for visiting the school (you will have to write a report).
